I’ve been wondering what to bake next for the last two days and I finally decided on this chocolate chunk banana bread. I’m very happy with how it turned out so I’m sharing it with you too. Bananas have always been a favorite of mine. I have used them in baked goods only a few times, however. This bread here is my biggest success so far.

Here comes another strawberry recipe. This time, it’s a milkshake. I already have a Strawberry oatmeal smoothie on the blog, but this a little different. You know, I’m giving you options in case you love strawberries as much as I do:) It was absolutely delicious. It’s the perfect refreshing drink for spring.

Well, hello. How was your weekend? I haven’t posted anything in more than a week, but here I am with a very quick recipe for a delicious and creamy chocolate banana smoothie. I even think it tastes like chocolate ice cream. Yes, really! Can it get any better?

April is here and, this time, I have no complaints about the weather. It’s been pretty warm these past few days. You can go out in a T-shirt. You have no idea how happy I am. To start this month (and just in time for the weekend) I have some strawberry pancakes for you. When I told you that I am obsessed with strawberries, I wasn’t kidding at all.

It’s March already. Spring is almost here! Speaking of that, how’s the weather where you live? It’s getting warmer here, but it’s windy. I was very eager to eat strawberries for the first time this year. They are pretty expensive now and not very flavorful, but I guess that’s normal. They are nice in a smoothie, though.

I’ve been in quite the baking mood these days, even more so than usual. Since I already had a few sweet stuff, I decided to make something savory and went with some buttermilk biscuits. I really like them, but I don’t make them that often. I need to correct this mistake.

Happy Valentine’s day everybody! I hope you’re having a great time if you’re celebrating. Today’s recipe is not very romantic – no chocolate, heart-shaped or red velvet stuff for you. Hope I’m not disappointing you. I’m sure many of you (just like me) like cinnamon rolls. How can you say no to that fluffy goodness? As much as I like the yeasted rolls, these here are different. A little experiment on my part that ended well.

Lately, I’ve been experimenting with some pancake recipes. I haven’t given it much thought, but they are really versatile. Sweet or savory, healthy or not-so-healthy, with all sorts of flavor combinations. I guess they are pretty much the ultimate breakfast/brunch item, especially for the weekend. Today I’m sharing my latest creation-these banana chocolate pancakes. I think they ended up pretty nice, not that anything loaded with chocolate can be bad.

Hi there! It’s been awhile since my last post. How is the new year going for you so far? Did anything interesting happen? I experimented with a few recipes, caught a stubborn cold, visited my aunt and experimented some more. Nothing was worth sharing and that’s why you haven’t heard from me. It’s very cold here and the snow is refusing to melt. I just want to stay home and wait for the spring.

It’s Sunday again! This week sure passed really fast. It was overall a nice one. The weather was great, well not just great but amazing. I don’t remember ever being this warm in November. Since I dread the cold, you just can’t imagine how happy I am. I wish the whole winter could be like this, but I guess that’s not going to happen, so I might as well enjoy it while I can.
